It has run on two different computers with different versions of Windows (we're currently running windows 10 and it works fine with that also), and I feel like it's definitely a serious step up from how I had to learn typing back when I was in high school.

My perspective is that this is a better suite of lessons and games then I've seen available for free instruction on-line, and it was worth the price. So, that tells me they're a bit more interesting then a 10 year old should want to admit to her mother. And yet, when I tried to get my computer back to write this review, she kept playing the games, even after I told her to get off. She says she doesn't like all of the music, she thinks some of it's annoying and that the lessons and games could be more interesting. So this time around it's going much better. And because I was dealing with some pretty intense stuff at the time, I figured I'd just wait until, oh, I don't know, she found something she really wanted to do that needed typing and say "here you go, have at it!" She found it frustrating, wouldn't try the games so much, and didn't want to deal with it. If you'd have asked her at that time, she would have said 1 star. We purchased this 3 years ago, when our daughter was 7. She currently thinks it's a four star product, I say 5. I'm going to preface this by saying that my daughter and I have two different ratings for this product.
